Free concert tonight at Kimmel Ctr
The Kimmel Center’s free concert series, “Live from the Plaza Stage,” continues tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. with an acoustic concert by Matt Richards, guitarist, Philadelphia native and faculty member at the Ambler Music Academy.
Richards has a new album out, “As You Are,” which features solo performances from Richards’ first four album releases, and this show promises to take “audiences on a musical journey with the sounds of 1960s folk, rock and psychedelic music, 1970s jazz-fusion, and signature renditions of Marley, Hendrix and the Beatles.”
