Fox News suspends Gingrich, Santorum for possible presidential runs

You can’t run for president and work for the media. So says Fox News, which today suspended former Pa. Sen. Rick Santorum and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. Both are possible 2012 presidential candidates.

Anchor Bret Baier announced the 60-day suspensions on air. The suspensions end May 1, at which time both contributors’ contracts with the news organization will be terminated if they don’t notify Fox they’re not running for president.
