Former Pakistan ambassador speaks in Wilmington
Pakistani activist for human rights Bushra Aitzaz will speak to members of the Wilmington Rotary Club this afternoon in downtown Wilmington.
Originally scheduled to speak about women’s rights in Pakistan, the death of Osama bin Laden at the hands of U.S. forces in Pakistan will likely also be a topic of discussion. Aitzaz visit is part of the Wilmington Rotary Club’s ongoing series of cultural and community exchange with Pakistan, and a fellow club in Lahore.
