Former gun shop now serving young skateboarders
See that photo above? Not too long ago, the sign advertised Colosimo’s, a well-know firearms store that lost its license after owner James G. Colosimo pleaded guilty to failing to keep proper records of a handful of purchases.
The sign said Colosimo’s long after the guns were gone, but now that’s gone, too.
Reporter Lizz Fiedler says the store at 933 Spring Garden Street — still a gun shop on Google Maps — is now Armory East Skate Shop. And a popular hangout for preteen skaters.
