Flyers fans hit the ice to win tickets to Wednesday’s game

One cold, lucky person will walk away this morning with two tickets to Wednesday night’s Flyers game. The tickets are stuffed inside one of 100 pucks, which are frozen inside 30,000 lbs. of ice.

Fans lined up this morning to use their hands — and only their hands — to melt the ice and find the winning puck. They began gathering at the Clothes Pin statue in Center City at 7:30 on what promises to be an unseasonably warm day.

The Flyers play the Vancouver Canucks Wednesday at the Wells Fargo Center.
