Flash flood watch issued along southern New Jersey coast

Forecasters have issued a flash flood watch for southern New Jersey.

The National Weather Service says that coastal Atlantic, Cape May and Ocean counties is in effect until 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

The advisory follows soaking rains that moved through the area and comes after the July 4 holiday that saw beachgoers flock to the shore.
