Fire sparks inside Philadelphia refinery Saturday morning

A fire sparked early this morning inside the Honeywell refinery in the city’s Frankford section.

WPVI-TV reports the fire was under control around 1:20 a.m., less than half an hour after the first call was made.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire to a boiler room that apparently overheated inside the refinery on Bridge Street near Tacony Street.

According to WPVI-TV, there were no injuries reported.
