Fire rips through 2 lagoon houses in Avalon [photos, videos]

A fire significantly damaged two houses this morning in Avalon, police said.

No injuries were reported in the fire on Sea Gull and Pelican drives, the Avalon Police Department tweeted.

The fire broke out around 7:45 a.m. and quickly reached a second alarm.

Authorities say the fire sparked in the unoccupied Pelican Drive house before spreading to the adjacent house on Sea Gull Drive, where all residents escaped unharmed.
