Find the school that’s right for your student during this weekend’s Philadelphia High School Expo

The annual Philadelphia High School Expo will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29 and 30, at District headquarters at 440 N. Broad Street.

High schools will have booths so that students and their families can learn about their programs and any requirements for admission. District-run neighborhood high schools, as well as citywide special admission schools, will be represented.

Many charter schools — there are more than 30 high school charter options in the city — will also be there.

The Notebook will also be there with copies of our annual Fall Guide to High Schools, which contains valuable information about the city’s more than 80 public high school options. Look for us in Room 1080 and for volunteers who will be giving out copies at the entrance.

The Department of Career and Technical Education will be on hand to discuss options with students.

The Expo is designed for seventh and eighth graders and high school students who wish to transfer.

    Hours on Saturday are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m and on Sunday from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.
