Father of Old City beating victim pleads for witnesses to come forward

John Kless, father of Kevin Kless, 23, who was beaten to death early Saturday morning in Old City, is pleading for witnesses with any information about his son’s death to come forward.

“I need anybody that was in the area at the time to please call the police to find out who these people were that did this to my son,” he told CBS Eyewitness News.

Police say Kless shouted at a cab as he was walking near 4th and Chestnut Streets at around 2:30 a.m., when the car behind the cab stopped and three men attacked and beat Kless until he was unconscious.
