Farewell to Joe Frazier: Live coverage from Enon Tabernacle

This morning, Philadelphia will say its final goodbye to Smokin’ Joe Frazier, the legendary boxer who passed away  of liver cancer at the age of 67. Among those expected to attend the services at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church are Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes and Rev. Jesse Jackson.

At the first of two public lie-in-state memorials at the Wells Fargo Center, Mayor Michael Nutter said that he was working with the Frazier family and others with the hopes of announcing a “long-standing” memorial to Frazier in Philadelphia “at the appropriate time.”

Newsworks will be live Tweeting from Enon (@gtownwolane) and posting video, photos and stories later in the day.

You’re invited to post your remembrances and photographs of Frazier here.
