Facade in ‘Boardwalk Empire’ cracking in Atlantic City

Atlantic City’s “Boardwalk Empire” appears to be cracking.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the 180-foot facade has cracks that have appeared in the last few weeks in the vinyl along the edges of the facade’s panels.

The facade, located near Florida Avenue in front of Boardwalk Hall, shows images of the city’s old storefronts from the 1920’s.

The Press of Atlantic City says Interstate Outdoor Advertising, which erected the facade in July, is working to find ways to fix the cracks.
