Expanding Delaware’s oyster population

Delaware will make investment in oyster reefs in the Delaware Bay.
Governor Markell will make the announcement today in Leipsic surrounded by state environmental officials and those in the oyster industry. The investment in oyster habitat in the bay is expected to increase the oyster harvest and provide jobs for watermen, wholesalers and retailers of Delaware Bay oysters.
