Exelon Nuclear has a routine test planned for 2 p.m., and residents in Montgomery, Chester and Berks counties are within earshot.
The Mercury reports the test will produce two sets of tones lasting three minutes each. Everything should be finished by 2:30.

Exelon is testing its new siren system in accordance with its plan to replace all of Limerick’s emergency sirens within a 10-mile radius.
