Every penny counts

    A total of $10,065 has been collected to date for the Salvation Army/Daily Times Merry Christmas Fund. The 40th annual fundraiser has a $50,000 to help provide area famlies with holiday assistance.

    The Delaware County Times today ran a list of donations to date, including the most recent contribution of $900. The Salvation Army will use the money to provide needy families with three days’ worth of food, Christmas dinner, toys for children and winter clothes.
