Employees sue Dick’s Sporting Goods for wage violations

Dick’s Sporting Goods has agreed to settle a class-action suit and 22 state lawsuits from employees alleging wage violations.

Employees in Pennsylvania, New York and other states claim the Pennsylvania-based store for not properly paying overtime to those who worked more than 40 hours per week and through breaks, the Associated Press and Beaver County Times report.

A federal judge must approve the ruling before a settlement is reached.

We’ll leave the Dick’s puns up to your imagination.
