An email being circulated suggests School District of Philadelphia Superintendent Arlene Ackerman is quick to take action against whistleblowers. The Philadelphia Examiner published a portion of an email sent to them today citing several instances of the much-criticized Ackerman suspending or firing district whistleblowers.
The most recent example of this is the suspension of five employee released for publicizing district information regarding the no-bid emergency contract awarded to a minority-owned business.
