Electronic recycling event at Girard College Saturday

Yes, your ideas to turn your old computer into a fish tank and your old cell phone into . . . something are great ideas. But unless you’ve acted on them, it’s probably time to part ways with your outdated electronics.

Girard College will host an eCycles Collection tomorrow with Keep Philadelphia Beautiful from 9 a.m. to noon so you can once and for all get rid of the flip phone your toddler’s been fake-texting with.
Computers, cell phones, televisions, stereos, fax machines, photocopiers, home and office phones, alarm clocks and more are all acceptable items.

Bring your stuff to the main gate on South College Avenue.
