Two teens attack 65-year-old man on Chelten Avenue (Updated)

Philadelphia Police released footage of a 65-year-old man being attacked Wednesday afternoon on the 400 block of Chelten Ave. by two teenaged suspects who ran up behind him and struck him in the side of the head.

The victim suffered serious head, face and jaw injuries in the 3 p.m. assault, police said of the incident which occurred near the Oak Lane Reservoir in Olney.

The suspects are described as two 5-foot-10, 16-year-old youths. One was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt and tan shirt, the other a navy blue hooded sweatshirt.

Police ask anybody with information about the suspects to call the tipline at (215) 686-TIPS (8477).

UPDATE: 6abc is reporting that the teens have been arrested in the time since the video was released.
