Do you love nature? Join the Friends of the Wissahickon for a botanical tour of Central Park! The tour will take place on Thursday, Sept. 27.
Departure time is 8 a.m. from Plymouth Meeting Mall, located at 500 West Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting. Return time is 6 p.m. at Plymouth Meeting Mall.
This tour will include a box picnic lunch and a copy of Central Park Entire, the Definitive Illustrated Map, the most detailed map of any urban park in the world. This guided tour will focus on the trees of the southern portion of Central Park with a secondary focus on the structures and history of this area. This is a walking tour, so please be prepared to spend a large amount of the time walking around Central Park.
