Eagles players, coaches, cheerleaders (and mascot) will help rebuild Northwest Philly playground next week

Representatives from all walks of Philadelphia Eagles organizational life will flock to a Northwest Philadelphia school on Monday for the Eagles Youth Partnership’s 18th annual “Playground Build” effort.
“Students from Prince Hall School will join the team in painting colorful exterior and interior murals, inlaying mosaic tiles on benches and tables, constructing a large play structure and planting gardens,” a press release stated. “A turf field will also be installed to provide the children with an area to play field sports.”
Prince Hall School, an elementary school located several blocks from East Germantown’s Imhotep Institute Charter High, serves 560 students from pre-K to the fifth grade.
Eagles front-office executives, coaches, players, cheerleaders and even the mascot Swoop are expected to be on hand. The school building itself is also getting brightened with some help from the Mural Arts Program.
