Eagles owners: We’re getting divorced but will continue to work together

Jeffrey and Christina Lurie, owners of the Philadelphia Eagles, have announced their divorce.

The pair announced the split on the Fourth of July, just in case there weren’t enough fireworks already in Philadelphia.

They’ll “remain close friends,” according to a letter to the team. That’s good. We wouldn’t want another Dodgers divorce on our hands, now would we?

The Luries have been married for 20 years and have a son and a daughter.
