NJ Spotlight has lost one of its founders. Dusty McNichol died suddenly yesterday, leaving behind family members and admiring coworkers.
McNichol, a Pulitzer Prize winner, cofounded issue-based NJ Spotlight in 2008 with John Mooney after a career spent at the Kansas City Star, the Record and the Star-Ledger.
