District: students can request to be kept from blogging teacher’s class

About 60 Central Bucks East students have already requested to be kept out of Natalie Munroe’s classes, and the district expects more.

All of those requests will be honored, Principal Abe Lucabaugh said at a press conference today where he explained why Munroe will return to her job after she was caught blogging insulting things about some of her students.

Though Munroe’s lawyer says the teacher would prefer to work at another school, the Inquirer reports the district will be “containing the issue and monitoring the known environment.” Munroe will teach the same classes at the same school.

Munroe has been reinstated because she has a legal right to her job.
