District Attorney has a Black Friday message, orchestras discount their tickets

Good morning, Feeders, and happy Thanksgiving Eve!

It’s also now Black Friday Eve Eve, which seems to be trumping Turkey Day. Tom MacDonald this morning spotted people camped outside the Deptford Best Buy.

We’ve got just the right amount of holiday stories today, beginning with some Black Friday tips from Philadelphia D.A. Seth Williams. Tom MacDonald will be at that 1 p.m. news conference.

Tom is also checking in with Occupy Philly now that members have voted to stay at Dilworth Plaza despite a permit offer for Thomas Paine Plaza from the city.

Dave Davies and Lizz Fiedler are both working on some stories for the long weekend for us while Peter Crimmins visits a candy store as new employees learn to work the butter creamer.

Peter will also have details for us on orchestras jumping on the Black Friday train.

And in Germantown, high schoolers are raring to go. Eagles cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie visited Germantown High School yesterday as the Bears football team led a pep rally in advance of tomorrow’s game against MLK High.
