Disappearing act

A national TV show is hoping to shed light on the 2009 disapperance of a Chester County woman. Investigation Discovery’s “Disappeared” will chronicle the story of West Brandywine’s Toni Lee Sharpless.

Sharpless disappeared in August 2009 after a night out with friends. Since then, her friends, family and local law officials have hit dead ends in their search for answers on Sharpless’ whereabouts.

The “Disappeared” episode filmed earlier this fall, and follows the hunch of Chester County private detective Eileen Law, who believes Sharpless may have ended up in Camden, Philadelphia or Lancaster, a report from the West Chester Daily Local explains.
