Jennifer A. Andia MS, MPH is the Coordinator of Health Education and Outreach at the 11th Street Family Health Services Center of Drexel University. She leads community wellness programs including classes in smoking cessation, cooking and prenatal nutrition. Andia also works with individual patients to manage their weight and chronic conditions.
Scott D. Halpern, M.D., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. At Penn, he holds appointments as a Senior Fellow in the Center for Bioethics, Leonard Davis Institute for Health Economics and Institute on Aging. Halpern studies the moral and policy implications of decisions made by clinicians and patients, particularly when those decisions involve tradeoffs between the interests of individual patients and society as a whole.
