A meeting Monday to review a proposal for a minor league baseball stadium in West Chester left many residents with questions. Because comments were closed.

Deemed a “working session” the borough meeting veered from its agenda to address the potential for the Turk’s Head Stadium Alliance to build on a 30-acre vacant property. The nuanced agenda left no room for public comment.

The borough’s Redevelopment Authority is in the early stages of planning review. Before things can go further, the RDA must determine if the stadium is financially feasible, the Daily Local reports, and if it’s got the potential to bring in enough revenue.

The next RDA meeting is set for Jan. 24.
