Delware organization hosts meetings on sea level rise

New Castle residents are invited to discuss sea level rise today at a public engagement session.

The Delaware Sea Level Rise Advisory Committee is holding another of its sessions about the potential risks of a rising sea level from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at William Penn High School.

Residents can talk with committee members, take a look at maps of potential risk areas and comment on how higher sea levels might affect their homes and businesses.

Two other sessions will be held Nov. 21 in Dover and Nov, 29 in Lewes.
