DeLissio talks state taxes and jobs at Roxborough town hall

At her second in a three-meeting series, Pa. Rep. Pamela DeLissio held a town hall at Roxborough Memorial Hospital last night for her 194th District constituents.

Taxes and tuition remain big worries for voters, and DeLissio’s promise not to vote on a natural gas drilling tax unless the rate was high enough didn’t set well with some. After all, shouldn’t we take any tax we can get?

Though high on the list, taxes were a secondary concern for some, who are dealing with or facing rising college tuition rates and unemployment.

DeLissio will likely address the same concerns at her next and last town hall meeting tonight at  Laurel Hill Cemetery.
