Delaware River Basin Commission delays vote on natural gas drilling regulations
The Delaware River Basin Commission has postponed a vote on regulations for natural gas drilling.
Instead of voting Oct. 21 on how to allow the controversial practice and protect the river, the commission will vote Nov. 21, the Associated Press reports. Until then, no drilling is allowed in parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York governed by the DRBC. Advocates for both sides of the issue plan to take buses to the voting session.
