Delaware Air National Guard troop heads to Afghanistan

    Members of the Delaware Air National Guard will begin a three-month stint in the Middle East today. About 160 members with the 166th Airlift Wing will be deployed today, the Associated Press and WDEL-AM report.

    The crew will be at the 55th Air Expeditionary Wing of the Bagram Air Base, from which they’ll transport troops, equipment and other supplies.
