Delaware GOP wins another seat

    Another win for republicans in Delaware. A special election Saturday to fill a house seat goes to Ruth Briggs King.

    The win was heralded by state GOP leaders who say the democrats are now prevented from gaining a super majority in that chamber.  A super majority would allow any legislation to pass without opposition.

    “The Delaware Republican Party is on a roll,” said a jubilant Republican State Chairman Tom Ross. “This victory is a sign of victories to come in 2010.  The last three special elections have seen a switch from democratic to republican seats.
