Delaware experiences growth in incorporations
Delaware’s 2011 corporations report finds growth in new entities.
At the end of 2011 there were more than 945-thousand corporate entities in the First State, a 4-percent increase from 2010. Overall new entity formation also grew in 2011 by 13-percent to 133,297.
The findings are detailed in the 2011 Report on Delaware Corporations released by Secretary of State Jeffrey Bullock, which you can READ HERE.
63-percent of the Fortune 500 companies have Delaware incorporation, and more than half of the U.S.’s publicly traded companies call Delaware “home.”
