Officials with Delaware’s Department of Corrections are looking for an inmate who scaled a fence and escaped from a Wilmington community corrections center.

Authorities say security footage from the Plummer Community Corrections Center shows 22-year-old Percel Roberts of Newark climbing the fence Sunday.

Community Corrections Centers are Level 4 facilities where the Department of Correction oversees offenders who are transitioning back into the community. Offenders are allowed to the leave the facility to go to work, seek jobs or attend approved treatment sessions.

Roberts had been serving time for theft greater than $1,500.
