Delaware councilman dies of injuries from motorcycle crash

    A freshman councilman from Elsmere, Del., died Monday from injuries he sustained in a weekend motorcycle crash, the News Journal reports.

    Edward Olga lost control of his motorcycle in Maryland Saturday night and hit the back of a Dodge Charger. Olga was tossed from the vehicle and hit by another car.
    Despite being awake when people rushed to pull him from under the car, Olga died of his injuries after being transported to Christiana Hospital.

    Olga is survived by his wife and three children. The public can attend a Thursday night viewing from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home in Wilmington.
