Delaware convicted murderer found dead in prison cell

    Tom Capano has been in solitary confinement in a Delaware state prison since 1997, but was found dead today in his cell.

    Capano, a former attorney, was convicted of the 1996 murder of gubernatorial secretary Anne Marie Fahey and sentenced to a life in prison at a facility near Smyrna.

     

    The Wilmington News Journal reports the circumstances of Capano’s death are uknown, but no foul play is suspected.
