Del. student teacher nabbed for child porn

A Delaware man who worked as a student teacher in the Appoquinimink School District is now in jail on child pornography charges.

Bradford Holstein, Jr., 23, who is also an elementary education major at the University of Delaware was arrested yesterday and charged with 25 counts of dealing child porn.

An online undercover investigation led the Delaware Child Predator Task Force to Holstein’s Newark home. The state attorney general’s office says a forensic search of four computers and numerous digital storage devices turned up multiple video files of child pornography.

“Child pornographers are predators, and experience has shown us that predators are attracted to organizations and to jobs that put them in contact with children,” Attorney General Beau Biden said today. “That’s why the mission of our Child Predator Task Force – to proactively seek out predators and take them off the streets – is so critical to keeping our kids safe.”
