Miniatures Workshop: Mini Pyle masterpieces

Miniaturists from the First State Mini Club of Delaware will teach kids and their families how to create tiny masterpieces inspired by the Museum’s annual exhibition Masterpieces in Miniature and the retrospective exhibition Howard Pyle: American Master Rediscovered. Delaware Art Museum, December 18th, 1 P.M.

 

 

A Very Candlelight Christmas

Devlin Powers, a veteran director, is on the last stop of his showbiz career.  Unhappy with where life has taken him, Devlin is on the brink of closing his theatre days before the annual Christmas show opens.  He’s visited by many Broadway characters who take him through his past, present and future in a fun-filled journey to help him regain the joy and love that he lost years ago. New Candlelight Theatre, December 15th through 23rd.

Join the Preservation Hall Jazz Band as they celebrate the Winter holidays with their wildly popular holiday presentation, “Creole Christmas”. 2011 marks the eighth year that this venerable group has taken their infectious holiday spirit on the road.
