Deadlined extended for Coatesville’s velodrome sale

More than a year after plans for a bike-racing track in Coatesville were formulated, another extension has been granted — this time on the agreement of sale between the Redevelopment Authority and Amtrak.

The deadline to work out the sale of two acres of land to the authority has been extended to the end of the year, the West Chester Daily Local reports.

Amtrak will sell the proposed velodrome property to the authority for $13,500, but some sticking points are holding up the process.
