Dead rats cause concern among neighbors

In one Northeast neighborhood, residents are worried about the techniques being used to handle the area’s rodent problem.

Rats are apparently coming from a storm drain at the intersection of Oakley and Martins Mill roads, reports CBS.

Neighbors are concerned for the safety of their children and their dogs because “massive” rats have been found dead around the area.

The city has admitted its use of poison, but have yet to disclose any more detail to the Lawndale residents.
