Cumberland County prison officer arrested for bringing in drugs

    A seven-month investigation has led to the arrest of a prison officer at Bayside State Prison in Cumberland County, N.J.

    Pittsgrove resident Nazair Bey has been suspended without pay, the Daily Journal reports, and is charged with drug possession, distribution, conspiracy to distribute and official misconduct.

    Bey is accused of bringing drugs into the prison to distribute them among inmates.
