Cumberland County freeholder must also resign from national post

Louis Magazzu announced his resignation yesterday as a Cumberland County, N.J., freeholder, but he’ll also have to step down from his national post.

The now-former freeholder must resign as chairman of the National Democratic County Officials, the News of Cumberland County reports.

Magazzu stepped down yesterday after it became public that he had sent nude photos of himself to an unidentified woman. The photos fell into the hands of a political enemy, who has posted censored versions of the images on his website.
