Council still weighing soda tax, Croce discusses Sixers’ future

Could the Sixers be sold? And to a young billionaire based in New York? Talks of a sale haven’t been confirmed, but ESPN has said a deal to sell the NBA team is “imminent.” We’ll hear tonight from former Sixers President Pat Croce to get his take on what a sale could mean for the team. You can get a sneak peek of the interview in the audio clip that’s attached.

NewsWorks Tonight begins at 6 p.m. on 91 FM.

We’ll lead off with a report from Tom MacDonald. He spent the day in City Hall where Council debated how it should help fund the School District of Philadelphia’s budget gap.
