Council back to budget talks, schools closing early for expected high temps

    Good morning, Feeders!

It’s Monday morning and City Council is back on the budget grind. Tom MacDonald will let us know what comes out of today’s meetings, and will also look into new smoke detector regulations.
Peter Crimmins is working on a story about the American Revolution Center. We’ll find out what’s in store for Old City.

Taunya English will catch up with Penn Staters involved in a large-scale telescope project, and has another story in the works about a medical study in our area.

Emma Jacobs will look into the art of the school closing. Philadelphia’s public schools will close at noon, based on a call made yesterday. Was the call made to early, given today isn’t as hot as we thought? Or does it not matter because it’s the last week of school anyway?
