President Barack Obama made himself right at home on the PNC Bank Arts Center stage taking off his suit jacket and rolling up his sleeves.

He told an energetic crowd of more than 17,000 that Governor Corzine reduced the size of government, increased children’s health care rolls and has been an ally in developing a national economic recovery plan.

Corzine: We can put off the tough decisions, defer the big challenges. We can just tell people what they want to hear instead of what they need to hear. Well, that’s not the kind of leader Jon Corzine is.

Recent polls find the incumbent trailing Republican challenger former U.S. Attorney Chris Christie.
