Corbett signs execution warrant for Bucks County man

An execution date has been set for the Bucks County man convicted of killing Newtown Borough Police Officer Brian Gregg.

Gov. Tom Corbett yesterday signed the warrant, scheduling Robert Anthony Flor’s execution for Sept. 29.

Bensalem Patch reports Flor pleaded guilty in October 2006 for the 2005 shooting death of Gregg. Flor was in police custody for suspected drunken driving when he grabbed an officer’s gun and began shooting, fatally wounding Gregg.

Flor is currently in the State Correctional Institution at Greene.
