Cookies recalled for undeclared milk and egg ingredients

They might be sugar-free, but the Safeway Snack Artist Sugar Free Bite-Sized Chocolate Chip Cookies have milk and eggs in them, which poses a problem for anyone with those allergies.

    D. F. Stauffer Biscuit Co. Inc. is recalling lots of the product that were packaged without notice that the cookies contain milk and eggs. Someone with an allergy could experience itching, hives, wheezing, vomiting, anaphylaxis and digestive problems if exposed to those ingredients.
Sold in Safeway, Carrs, Dominick’s, Genuardi’s, Pak ‘N Save, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb and Vans around the country, cookies with Lot # L07112B and Best By date of 07-11-12 have been recalled.

You can call Stauffer at 1-888-480-1988 with questions.
