Convicted sex offender leaves Upper Darby park

The convicted sex offender was calling an Upper Darby park home is long gone.

Police were looking for Steven Sherlock – convicted in 2002 of assaulting a Sharon Hill teenager – earlier this week when they learned he’d listed Naylor’s Run Park as his home, raising concern in families who live near and visit the 32-acre park adjacent to Archbishop Prendergast/Monsignor Bonner High School.

But the Delaware County Times reports police have confirmed with state officials that Sherlock is now in Berks County, though it’s not clear if the address he’s registered at there is a building.
