Philly Controller candidates rumble Tuesday at WHYY
Tuesday evening, the candidates for City Controller will join in a one-hour debate at the studios of WHYY. Democratic incumbent Alan Butkovitz and Republican challenger Terry Tracy will answer questions from WHYY’s Senior Reporter Dave Davies.
The public can suggest questions during the debate, or submit them in advance to Patrick Christmas via email. The event is co-sponsored by the non-partisan Committee of Seventy, the League of Women Voters of Philadelphia, Young Involved Philadelphia and WHYY.
The event is at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the WHYY studios, 150 N. 6th St., Philadelphia. More information about the debate, along with general information about the candidates is available at www.seventy.org.
